President's Report

Thank you for welcoming me into the president's role at ISMGB. I’ll be working with Eliot and Dave to get up to speed. I learned during the transition meeting that the current president gets a gavel from 1947 to wave around at membership meetings; I didn’t realize the extent of presidential perks! In all seriousness, I hope to add my own flavor to the community with an objective of more engagement - Engagement through mini-communities, more social media, and more tailored content. In alignment with these "more's" we’ll kick off this first newsletter from the new board of directors with a request and challenge from the Emerging Professional Committee.

"How will Supply Management have changed by the year 2025?"
In 50 words or less, post your response to an ISMGB social media outlet. The Emerging Professionals Committee will select the most thoughtful and inspiring answer posted before June 30th and award a $200 Amazon giftcard! ... and we'll publish the best three submissions in the July Newsletter.
This is open to everyone - members, non-members and students alike.

Our Social Media Sites Include:

I look forward to serving you all with the objective of networked learning in supply management. Please reach out to me through about content you're seeking or professional development interests and any ideas for and requests you’d have for ISMGB. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events soon.
