The Harry J. Graham Award

In 1961 the ISMGB Board of Directors established the Harry J. Graham award to "Keep alive the memory of one whose faithful and untiring service contributed so much to the maintenance of high ethical standards and to publicly recognize others who have aided in these objectives." By giving the award only to those who are most deserving and only in years when someone of the highest caliber is agreed upon, it is the intent of the award to honor Harry J. Graham who served as the Association's Executive Secretary for 36 years. Candidates are selected annually by a committee of the five most recent former Association presidents who are still active in purchasing work.
